Rose & Ashes was published by P.Lal- Writers Workshop, Calcutta in 2009.
The poems in this collection question the myriad social conventions and how they have been ingrained in our minds. It is not a scathing attack that is used in these poems as the personal element softens the blow. Nevertheless, the poems probe into not only closed minds but also closed lives.
The book was nominated for the Muse India Young Writer Award 2011. It received Jury's Commendation Award at Hyderabad Literary Festival, 2012.
